Senior Litigation Attorney at Warner & Fitzmartin Attorneys
Bruce Kleinberg is a personal injury senior attorney at Warner & Fitzmartin, based in Lake Worth, Florida. With 33 years of experience, board certification in civil trial law by the Florida Bar, and more than 60 jury trials taken to verdict, he brings a depth of courtroom experience that is rare in any practice, anywhere. And then there is the medical degree, earned while working full time as an injury lawyer, which may make him the first board certified civil trial attorney in Florida history to have done so.
His story starts in Rochester, New York. After college at Hamilton College, he made a personal commitment to serve with the Israeli Defense Forces, spending three years as a paratrooper, seeing combat in Lebanon, and receiving an honorable discharge as a non-commissioned officer in 1985. He walked out of the Israeli Army on December 5th of that year and started law school at the University of Florida on January 5th, 1986. A month between. No break. That tells you something about Bruce Kleinberg.
He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1988 and has been fighting for injury victims ever since. In 1991, through the offices of General Norman Schwarzkopf at Central Command, he received a direct commission as a first lieutenant into the United States Army Reserve. He served his full reserve commission and received an honorable discharge in 2000 as a Captain. Then, in 2003, while practicing full time as an injury lawyer, he began the decade-long journey toward his medical degree, graduating from medical school in 2014
“I always wanted to be the David versus Goliath kind of attorney. The defense usually has unlimited resources and every advantage. I feel really good when we prevail”
The Edge That Matters at Trial
After 60 jury trials, Bruce knows what it takes to walk into a courtroom and win. His medical background gives him an edge that matters. He understands injuries the way most attorneys simply don’t, not from depositions and records alone, but from years of medical training and study. When he walks into a courtroom, he knows the medicine, he knows the law, and he knows how to make a jury understand both.
He still loves the older courtrooms, the wood, the weight of the room, the quiet authority of it. He believes juries take their job seriously, that they get it right, and that the courtroom is one of the last places in America where the little guy can actually win. After more than three decades of showing up and fighting, that belief hasn’t wavered.
As a South Florida personal injury attorney, Bruce handles car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, negligent security, wrongful death, and complex liability claims throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
